LOS ANGELES — The board of trustees of the Japanese American National Museum has announced that G.W. (Greg) Kimura, Ph.D., will serve as its new chief executive officer. The appointment concludes an extensive national search begun last August to replace Dr. Akemi Kikumura Yano, who tendered her resignation in July 2011.
